Moon Soaps were founded in Corralitos, California by Melody Kent with one simple aim, to create a range luxurious, nurturing products which smell divine. Moon products are handmade from scratch using only the finest exotic butters, premium fragrances, essential oils and botanicals. Moon never use parabens or phthalates and where possible source sustainable local products and organic ingredients.
After over ten years Melody's husband Zachary (a Butcher) decided to join the business and produce a shaving soap. Zachary felt adding a Tallow based shaving soap to the Moon catalogue would expand their audience greatly, and after in-depth research and guidance from Melody, Zachary perfected Old School, Moons first shaving soap.
Moon have always handled every aspect of the business “in house” and even render their our own Beef Tallow from Zachary’s trimmings at work, making their shaving soaps truly one of a kind. From the Butcher to the Barber couldn’t be more true!
